Windermere Preparatory School staff, families and volunteers took over Bloomingdale’s at the Mall at Millenia Saturday afternoon for the Windermere Prep Volunteer Association’s Love, Peace & Fashion Show fundraiser. Thirty students and four teachers hit the runway, all styled by Melanie Pace, to model Bloomingdale’s spring collection.
Festivities began at 1 p.m. with a silent auction and hors d’oeuvre before the fashion show kicked off around 2:45 p.m. Students ranging in ages from lower class to high-school classes participated and were cheered on by guests lining the runway. All proceeds collected went back to the school for events such as the father-daughter dance and teacher appreciation breakfasts.
