Ordinance 2017-02: The town's leaders will be voting on an ordinance meant to ban medical marijuana retail dispensaries from being located with the town's limits. Up until now, the town had in place a moratorium on the acceptance of building permit applications for medical marijuana dispensaries.

Resolution 2017-01: Tonight, Windermere council members will also vote on whether or not to adopt a resolution that establishes the amount of the assessments to be levied for the town's fire-rescue service costs. The tax assessment, which is placed on the property tax bill, is the town's method of collecting funds to pay for the Ocoee Fire Department's fire protection services. The town expects to recover and collect $597,403.82 for the 2017-2018 fiscal year from this assessment.

Resolution 2017-02: The Town of Windermere adopted an ordinance in 2008 that allows the town to clean up what it terms nuisances and imminent threats to public health and safety. Tonight, the Council will hold a public hearing on a resolution that contains the non-ad valorem assessment roll for lot clean-up costs and expenses for fiscal year 2017 to 2018.
