The student parking lot at West Orange High School was full on Saturday, Aug. 19, but there were no vehicles in the spaces. Class of 2018 seniors — along with an entourage of friends and parents — continued the tradition of painting their parking spaces.
Students proved they were creative with designs paying tribute to their pastimes, school clubs, future colleges, favorite movies and TV shows; many showed up with templates and other accessories to paint the perfect image. There was a sea of tents, too, to shade artists from the hot August sun.
Lowe's Home Improvement set up its own tent and handed out free bottles of water and Gatorade.
