JR. MAGIC YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION

FLORIDA SIMULATION SUMMIT

Hosted by Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs and the National Center for Simulation. The theme is “Experience the New Reality.” The event will showcase the transformation and advancement of transportation, medical, architecture and engineering industries through the use of virtual and augmented reality. It will feature various simulation experts, and the keynote speaker is Elizabeth Baron at Ford Motor Co.’s Virtual Reality and Advanced Technical Specialist. KARAOKE CLASH AFTER HOURS

The West Orange Chamber of commerce is presenting its annual Karaoke Clash at its next Business After Hours, and local government officials will be vying for the win. CRUZ N CAR SHOW

4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, in downtown Winter Garden. Check out the dozens of classic cars that will line West Plant Street. Radio station WJBJ's Cruisin' with the Classics will broadcast from the car show. MID-FLORIDA MILERS WALKING CLUB

Register and start walking anytime between 8:30 and 10 a.m. at the Kirk Community Center, 17436 Division St., Montverde. Two distances are available: 10K or 5K.
