The new Windermere Wolverines football team suited up and hit the field at Olympia High Saturday, May 20, during the first community event for Windermere High School. More than 35 boys took to the field to show of their drills and hard work leading up to the team’s first spring scrimmage. It was the first official appearance for the Wolverines, who will make their debut in the 7A Region 2 District 5 division in the fall. The school’s PTSO organized the community event, which included an array of vendors, food trucks and official Windermere High merchandise.
