Arrest made after carjacking on Conroy Windermere Road

A suspect has been arrested, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, following a carjacking that took place on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

At 10:40 p.m., a woman was forcibly removed from her vehicle at 8700 Conroy Windermere Rd.

According to a report from the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the woman was approached by a suspect and forced from her vehicle before the suspect drove off in her car. The woman was not hurt during the carjacking. 

The vehicle was found later in Daytona Beach by Volusia County deputies, who also made an arrest although the suspect has not yet been named.

According to OCSO, there are still two additional suspects who were involved in the carjacking. The suspects were described as black males between the ages of 18 and 25. OCSO investigators are conducting a follow-up investigation to determine the events leading up to the carjacking.
