Make-a-Wish Central and Northern Florida put on another extravagant event with its Wishmaker's Ball at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando on Saturday, April 21. The chapter, which covers 54 counties in Florida, hoped to raise over one million dollars to grant wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions. After bidding on over 200 items in the silent auction, guests sat down for a three-course meal and presentations from families who were helped by the foundation.
