The Winter Garden Rotary Club hosted its first community dance at Tanner Hall on Friday, Jan. 19, and about 150 club members and West Orange residents were in attendance. They were treated to an evening of food and drinks, a raffle and hours of dancing music.
The event was such a success that the club plans to make it an annual event.
Approximately $2,500 was raised, thanks to the raffle gifts donated by Ace Hardware, Main Street Mower, Ms. Bee’s Popcorn and West Orange Country Club, as well as several guests. The proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
