WINDERMERE For its fifth year running, Windermere Wine & Dine proved once again to be a hit with residents. About 1,000 attendees and volunteers gathered at and around Windermere Town Hall for an evening of sampling wines and local delicacies, as well as mingling and bidding on silent-auction items. This year’s event beneficiaries included the Mustang Education Fund, Windermere Historic Preservation Board, Tree Board, Parks and Recreation Board and the Windermere Police Foundation. Additionally, the brand-new “Wine & Dine Outreach Grant” was awarded to ReThink Homelessness’ Impact Families mission.
