More than $5,000 was raised Saturday, Jan. 27, at a festival held for Franco’s Pizzeria owner Debra Nix, who is being treated for cervical cancer.
The event, held at Bill Breeze Park in Ocoee, included vendors, a long table full of raffle items, barbecue and other foods, children’s events and entertainment.
The organizers, Nikki Fosnaugh and Jessica Hardy, are planning several more fund-raising events for Nix.
