13th ANNUAL SOUTHWEST AUTHOR SERIES

6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 11, at the Southwest Library, 7255 Della Drive, Orlando. The author series is presented in partnership with The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips. Author Anne Perry has written 75 books, exploring the lives of people from various eras and backgrounds. NIGHT AT THE PRESERVE

CHAMBER MAYORAL UPDATE LUNCHEON

The West Orange Chamber of Commerce offers the opportunity for residents to get to know local leaders from Orange County, the cities of Ocoee and Winter Garden and the towns of Oakland and Windermere. Community Editor Amy Quesinberry was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble.
