The First Baptist Church of Windermere’s SWAT praise team enjoyed performing at the event.
The streets of Downtown Windermere lit up the night sky with 100,000 white lights for the town’s annual Light Up Windermere event. Hundreds of attendees gathered around town hall for the event, which featured a number of performances and more than a dozen food trucks. Mayor Gary Bruhn had the honor of leading the lighting ceremony with the help of dozens of local children. Choirs from the First Baptist Church at Windermere and Foundation academy performed at the event, in addition to dance performances by members of Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance and members of the Sundancers Baton Twirlers.
