Canine Companions for Independence hosted a gala Charlie Brown himself would approve of on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Rosen Shingle Creek. This year’s theme was “It’s The Great Gala, Charlie Brown!” and celebrated the organization’s great “pupkins” while raising money for the organization. Attendees could bid on hundreds of silent-auction items, take pictures in a puppy photo booth or at various Peanuts-inspired photo opportunities, and meet dozens of service dogs in training.
