Smiles, laughter, cheers and tears were shared by attendees at Special Olympics Florida’s Champions Gala Saturday, Oct. 6, as they gathered to celebrate and fundraise for their favorite organization. Held at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, the gala featured a three-course formal dinner, Special Olympics Florida’s Athletes Awards Ceremony, and both silent and live auctions. Professional athletes such as Johnny Damon and Raja Bell attended, and participants enjoyed music from Sisaundra Lewis and Dean Martin tribute artist Felix J. Deneau Jr.
