It was a show of satire and sonnets as Dr. Phillips High theater students performed “Shakespeare in Love” from Oct. 4 to 7. The play re-imagines the story of how William Shakespeare wrote “Romeo and Juliet.” The story follows a young Shakespeare as he meets — and falls in love with — a woman who inspires him to write one of his most famous plays.
