WINTER GARDEN Whispering Oak Elementary got a visit from Disney characters, Transformers, pirates and more during its trunk-or-treat event on Saturday, Oct. 27. Students were encouraged to don their best Halloween costumes and bring a treat bag to collect candy from parents and volunteers, who decorated their vehicles in the spooky holiday’s spirit. Children could also play games such as a bean-bag toss or inflatable bowling, walk the plank at a Peter Pan-themed setup and have fun spending time with friends and family.
