It was another big win for the Windermere boys soccer team, as the Wolverines pushed their way past a physical Viera (12-5-1) team in a 3-1 victory in the Class 4A, Region 2 quarterfinal on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
After a shaky start to the game, which saw the home side go down 1-0, the Wolverines (18-2-1) stormed back to score three-unanswered goals — two from Joan Victor and another by Alberto Barrios.
The next step for the Wolverines is a regional semi-final at Melbourne (15-4-4) on Saturday, Feb. 9.
