Going into the night's matchup against Edgewater (20-6), Ocoee had just one thing on its mind: Redemption.
After a 19-point loss to the Eagles during the regular season, Ocoee (17-10) avenged that loss as the underdog Knights pulled off the big 54-51 win during the Class 8A, District 5 semis at Windermere High School on Wednesday, Feb. 3.
Between the 14 points scored by Sadeem Blake, and a defense that held the Eagles' high-powered offense in check, the Knights did everything needed to secure the win and move on to the district final where they'll take on the top-seeded Windermere (23-4) on Friday, Feb. 15.
