Oakland to discuss changes to recycling program

The Town Commission meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Oakland Meeting Hall.

The Oakland Town Commission is holding its regular meeting Tuesday, March 10, and will discuss an amendment to its 2015 contract with Advanced Disposal. Commissioners will vote on whether or not to delete glass from its recycling program.

The commission also will address the idea of refreshing the town brand to enhance its identity and will vote on three ordinances pertaining to fertilizer use and to construction debris.

The meeting hall is at 221 N. Arrington St.
