Orange County sees second positive case of coronavirus

The Florida Department of Health confirmed 39 new positive cases Sunday, including that of a 48-year-old woman in Orange County who is now being isolated.

A second positive case of coronavirus has been reported within Orange County, according to an update from the Florida Department of Health.

Early Sunday, March 15, the department confirmed 39 new positive cases, including that of a 48-year-old woman in Orange County who is now being isolated. Whether the case is travel-related or not is currently under investigation.

The Florida Department of Health had just confirmed the first positive case in Orange County — a 41-year-old male — a day earlier Saturday, March 14.

As of 4:24 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 106 Florida residents have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Florida Department of Health.
