COVID-19 UPDATE FROM WINTER GARDEN
The city of Winter Garden posted the following update as of March 16:
- All city-sponsored events are postponed or canceled until further notice. Note that upcoming events — including the Wine Walk, Bloom & Grow and Evening with the Pops — have been canceled. The city will continue to re-assess and provide updates as we move forward.
- All Parks & Recreation programs are canceled until further notice, with the exception of spring break daycare, which will remain open. Note that cancelations include all sporting events, city pools and the city’s splash pad.
- The Farmers Market will remain open on Saturdays, but will be scaled back to include food items only (vegetables, fruit, bread, dairy, seafood and meat and some prepared foods etc.). Hand sanitizer stations will be available for use throughout the market. Vendor booths and check-out areas will be staggered to meet social distancing requirements.
