Officials from Universal Orlando announced that CityWalk will reopen for limited operations beginning Thursday, May 14.

On Tuesday, May 12, the company said select venues will reopen for guests to enjoy from 4 to 10 p.m. daily while following Centers for Disease Control guidelines.

Self-parking is complimentary, and Universal will not offer valet parking for the time being. The Universal Studios store and select merchandise carts, along with many CityWalk restaurants, will be available. The restaurants are reopening with a limited menu and seating.

CityWalk venues that remain temporarily closed include Blue Man Group, all nightclubs and Universal Cinemark.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed," Universal representatives stated in a press release. "Additional venues may be added over time, and hours of operation are subject to change."

All guests and team members will be asked to comply with the following: wearing face coverings, required temperature checks, proper hand washing, social distancing and minding the associated floor markings. Guests and team members also must avoid contact with those who are sick.

Universal Orlando also is limiting capacity at venues to help enforce social distancing, placing signage throughout CityWalk encouraging social distancing guidelines, continuously and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and offering cashless payments at all venues.

Universal Orlando's theme parks remain closed through at least May 31.
