Horizon High girls varsity soccer team, No. 1 seed in its district

The lady Hawks ended their regular season with an overall record of 12-2-2 and a district overall record of 1-0.

After what is was a pretty successful season, the Horizon High School girls varsity soccer team earned the No. 1 seed seat in District 6 for the Class 5A Region 2.

After ending their last two games on a tie: 1-1 against Edgewater and 1-1 against Olympia, the lady Hawks are looking forward to playing their district semifinal game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27.

The team that will face Horizon will be the winner of the quarterfinal game between Gateway High School and Lake Buena Vista that will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25.
