FWC recognizes ONP

Oakland Nature Preserve has been recognized as a 2023 Outstanding Partner for the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission.

“A big thank you to all our educators … who often (go) above and beyond to host educational programs after hours and on weekends,” said ONP director Jennifer Hunt. “Their dedication and hard work enabled ONP to achieve the FWC's Youth Conservation Network's greater mission of creating the next generation that cares about conservation.

“We are excited to continue nurturing a love for the outdoors and engaging kids and their families in conservation,” Hunt said.
