Schofield Road opens from S.R. 429 to U.S. 27

The drive from Horizon West to Clermont just got much shorter.

Horizon West and Clermont residents can rejoice now that Schofield Road is paved and open from State Road 429, in Orange County, to U.S. 27, in Lake County. The road extends 6.5 miles from Avalon Road in Winter Garden to the Clermont highway.

Schofield Road meets 27 near the entrance to Lake Louisa State Park.
