Orange County's Planning Division is hosting a community meeting Tuesday, Jan. 16, regarding a property in Gotha.

The meeting is to discuss an applicant's request to rezone a subject property from Restricted Country Estate - Cluster District to Country Estate District to allow for four homes through a lot split on 11.3 acres.

The current zoning of R-CE-C allows for eleven homes, which represents a reduction of seven homes from what is currently approved.

The property is located at 9975 8th St., on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Hempel Avenue and south of the Florida Turnpike.

The community meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at Thornebrooke Elementary School, 601 Thornebooke Drive, Ocoee.
