Evermore Orlando Resort opens in Lake Buena Vista

The $1.5 billion resort has become Orlando's "first-of-its-kind" beach paradise.

Evermore Orlando Resort has opened in the Lake Buena Vista area after five years of planning and building.

The $1.5 billion resort has become Orlando's "first-of-its-kind" beach paradise.

The luxury resort opened its doors to customers Monday, Jan. 1.

Located north of the Disney resort area the 1,100-acre resort features a multitude of amenities, including "Evermore Bay," a man-made, eight-acre pool designed to look like a natural lagoon. 

Other resort features include a large tropical beach, private cabanas, water slides, kayak and paddle board rentals, golf, pickleball, fitness classes, and a full list of monthly activities for all ages. 

Twelve dining and drinking options are located at the resort, including the Twin View Restaurant, Sophia's Trattoria, Papaya Club, Ceiba, Sandhill Provisions, Little Spoon and Barbara Ann's Beach Bar.

The resort offers a multitude of different accommodations for visitors, including flats, villas and vacation houses, as well as the Conrad Orlando hotel.
