Olympia High School student Jacob Gorberg has been collecting teddy bears to donate to the Orange County Sheriff's Office for children in need.

Jacob, a senior, was assisted by more than 300 members of the school's National Honor Society, which ran a teddy bear drive.

More than 50 teddy bears were collected.

The teddy bears were given to the OCSO last week to distribute to children within Orange County.

"We want to express our immense gratitude to these students and teachers for their generosity and support towards our community," OCSO officials shared in a social media post. "Thank you for making a difference."
