Winter Garden teens invited to summer kickoff event

The Save our Students event will include basketball and video game tournaments, inflatables, giveaways, a live deejay, and free food.

West Orange County area teens are invited to a summer kickoff event hosted by the Save Our Students initiative. 

The program, which started in 2023, includes a series of summer weekend activities for at-risk youth.

The Winter Garden event will include activities for teens ages 13-18, such as basketball and video game tournaments, inflatables, giveaways, a live deejay, and free food.

The event is in partnership with Orange County, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and Cobaris Ministries International. 

The evening activities will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at 309 SW Crown Point Road, Winter Garden.
