WGHF director presenting history of Winter Garden

Hear Jim Crescitelli share old stories Oct. 18 at Heller Hall.

To celebrate the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation's 30th year, director Jim Crescitelli will devote an evening to covering the history of the city of Winter Garden. 

This free program, given as only Crescitelli can, features a PowerPoint presentation and rare local artifacts that cover the ups, the downs, and the sideways tales and historic events that all conspired to create this special 

Celebrate the WGHF beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Heller Hall, 21 E. Plant St., Winter Garden. Refreshments will be served. For information, call (407) 656-3244.

Amy Quesinberry Price

Community Editor Amy Quesinberry Price was born at the old West Orange Memorial Hospital and raised in Winter Garden. Aside from earning her journalism degree from the University of Georgia, she hasn’t strayed too far from her hometown and her three-mile bubble. She grew up reading The Winter Garden Times and knew in the eighth grade she wanted to write for her community newspaper. She has been part of the writing and editing team since 1990.
