The city of Winter Garden is participating in the Water Conservation “Drop Savers” Poster Contest, sponsored by the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association.

Students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade can create a poster depicting a water conservation idea in slogan form, drawing form or both. The contest allows students to promote the importance of water conservation in their daily lives. Winners will receive prizes and recognition at a City Commission meeting in April.

Poster should be drawn on 8 ½-inch by 11-inch white paper. It can be drawn vertically or horizontally. Students may use crayons, paint, color pencils or markers. No highlighters, photos or computer graphics are permitted.

Students must work on posters individually. Only original artwork will be accepted (no trademarked or copyrighted materials).

Complete the entry form and tape it to the back of each poster.

A panel of judges will rate each poster for the message, creativity and originality (not just artistic ability).

The deadline to submit the entry is Wednesday, Feb. 28. Start drawing!

For the entry form, visit bit.ly/3CJinpt. For more information, call (407) 877-5193.
