Local athletes to take spotlight in G.USA Olympics

Gymnastics USA’s biggest event of the year is set for Saturday,

The gym will host its annual G.USA Olympics, a non-competitive, Olympic-style event, at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Gymnastics USA, 13175 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden.

This recreational event is designed so Gymnastics USA athletes can showcase to their family and friends the skills they have acquired and accomplished. 

This fun-filled event is done in the style of a competitive competition without the scores or critiques. All participants will receive a gold medal.

The event even will feature an opening ceremony with aerial acrobats.
