Windermere bowling makes school history

The Wolverines’ boys bowling team won the 2025 Bowling District Championship and Hannah Ruser rolls herself to states.

Windermere High’s boys bowling team made school history by winning the Bowling District Championship for the first time in school history Tuesday, Oct. 21. 

The Wolverines’ win will send the team to the bowling states tournament. 

The team finished its regular season 10-0 after winning the Metro Championship for the first time Wednesday, Oct. 15. 

On the girls side of Windermere bowling, Hannah Ruser bowled an individual score during districts to send her to the Bowling State Championships.

Windermere’s girls team concluded its regular season with a 9-1 record after defeating Olympia and Wekiva.
