Foundation Academy baseball alumnus drafted to MLB

Foundation Academy baseball player Braden Holcomb and his teammate Nate Seeber became the first FA baseball players to receive full-ride scholarships to play college ball in 2022. 

Holcomb signed his letter of intent to play for Vanderbilt University after graduation in 2023. The No. 10 overall high school player in Florida and No. 38 nationally player became a standout character for Vanderbilt with 35 appearances with 30 starts as a freshman, ranked No. 28 as a sophomore in preseason and an SEC Player of the Week his junior year.

He now has signed his official papers to play in the MLB for the Chicago White Sox.

"His hard work, dedication and passion for the game have earned him this incredible opportunity to begin his professional baseball career."
