Matthew's Hope receives matching grant opportunity, asks for community's help

The homeless ministry is asking residents to help reach its $250,000 goal to receive a matching grant.

The Matthew's Hope nonprofit was given the opportunity to receive $250,000 if it is able to raise $250,000 by Friday, July 31. 

So far, Matthew's Hope has been able to raise $111,339 of $250,000. 

It needs another $138,661 to receive the matching money. 

With one week left to reach its goal, the nonprofit is asking organizations and individuals to help through donations. 

"Please help us, help them, help themselves," the ministry posted online.
