Windermere warns residents, commuters of traffic

The town continues its construction work from Monday, April 20, to Friday, April 24.

The town of Windermere continues its construction projects this week until Friday, April 24. 

On West 2nd Avenue, crews will continue to repair concrete and paver driveways as well as grading dirt behind the curb. Sodding, mulching or installing gravel will continue at Palmer Park, as well as the clean up of the parking and storage area at the park and on Pine Street. 

Daytime lane closures will be in effect. 

Crews also will be installing storm drainage alongside 3rd Street and digging swales. 

Commuters might experience daytime closures on 3rd Avenue.

Forming and pouring concrete at structures on 8 Avenue and East Boulevard also will take place, as well as road grading and road shoulder grading. 

Crews might complete limited work in Fernwood Park as well as along Butler Street, Forest Street and 7th Avenue. 

Allow for extra travel time and drive safely.
