Titans take home the district championship after near-perfect season

Olympia High girls beach volleyball team completed its mission for the postseason by clinching the Class 3A District 6 Championship Wednesday, April 22. 

The Titans topped Lake Nona 3-2 to earn the title. In the semifinals of districts, Olympia swept Freedom 5-0. The team has been near-perfect this season with its 11-1 overall record. 

Olympia now looks towards the regional tournament, which will begin Monday, April 27. In the first round, Olympia will travel to play at Winter Park. Also in the quarterfinals for 3A is Horizon, who has home-court advantage for its game against Lake Brantley.
