West Orange girls water polo team advances to Final Four

The Warriors clinched their third regional championship win in a row.

For the third year in a row, West Orange High girls water polo team celebrated winning the Florida High School Athletic Association Region 2 Championship Friday, April 17. 

The Warriors topped Westminster Academy 13-7 for the crown. On the road to the regional championship game, West Orange first topped Cardinal Gibbons 20-0, then Dr. Phillips High 13-7. 

West Orange will play its next game against Gulliver Prep Friday, April 24, for the State Final Four. The Warriors enter the contest with a 23-2 record and No. 2 ranking in Florida and in the nation.
