Winter Garden Fire lieutenant receives national recognition

The Winter Garden Fire Department announced Lt. Fred Davis was recognized with a Fire Officer designation from the Commission on Professional Credentialing. 

This national recognition is given to those with a commitment to excellence in leadership, ethics, service and professional development. 

Davis has served the Winter Garden community for more than two decades. 

"This accomplishment is another reflection of the high standard he brings to the job every day," WGFD officials said. "Congratulations, Lieutenant Davis, on this outstanding achievement. We're proud to stand beside you."
