At the sound of his countdown, the children took off as Uncle Sam ran ahead, officially kicking off the 22nd annual Winter Garden All American Kids Parade Saturday, July 4.
Before the parade, children and their families gathered at the Masonic Lodge for the annual Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m., where they enjoyed a freshly prepared breakfast along with activities such as face painting and bike decorating.
Hundreds of community members came together in their best attire and accessories to celebrate America's 250th birthday.
