North Lakewood Avenue to be under construction in Ocoee

The underground utility work will begin Monday, July 13, and continue through the end of summer 2027 for Phase I.

Drivers can expect delays on North Lakewood Avenue starting Monday, July 13.

The delays will be due to underground utility work beginning Monday, July 13. Construction for Phase I of the project will continue through the end of summer 2027, while Phase II work is expected to be completed through the end of summer 2028.

Traffic delays should be expected from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until Friday, Aug. 7. During the school year, delays can be expected from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. 

"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our infrastructure," the city of Ocoee posted on social media. "Our team is committed to restoring normal traffic flow as quickly and safely as possible each day."
