Central Florida Christian Academy has found its newest boys basketball head coach: Jon Thomas. He enters the Eagles' program that reached the FHSAA Class 1A State Semifinal last season for the first time since 2019, under former head coach Albert Settles' guidance.

Thomas' more than nine years of experience as a coach includes stints at Geneva School, Jones High School and Pathways School, where he helped lead the Eagles to the FICAA 2A State Championship last season. He also coaches within the Austin Rivers SE Elite organization on the 3SSB Circuit.

The native from Orlando graduated from Evans High before attending the University of Central Florida for his undergrad and graduate degrees.
