The Winter Garden Squeeze took game one 11-6 Thursday, June 4, of the three-game home series against the Orlando Snappers.
It was the Squeeze's second win in a row and advanced the team's record to 2-3. In the win, right fielder David Freitas recorded two home runs. He had entered the game without any hits on the season.
The Squeeze also recognized the Winter Garden Little League team that won the Florida District 14 Tournament of Champions. Former Florida Collegiate Summer League coaches Terry Abbott and David Burr, who coached for the Squeeze for three seasons from 2019 to 2021, threw out the first pitch.
