Orange County soon will host a community meeting to learn about residents' thoughts on stormwater utility fees.

The county currently is evaluating options, such a stormwater utility fee, to help fund stormwater needs to address localized floods, implement drainage improvements, improve maintenance of stormwater infrastructure and increase water quality protection.

The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at the West Orange Recreation Center, 309 SW Crown Point Road, Winter Garden.

Residents are invited to attend to provide input, ask questions and learn more.
