The Rotary Club of Winter Garden received the George Bailey Award, which was accepted by John Riordan, who once was the president of the organization.
Every year, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce holds an annual celebration for the accomplishments and achievements of some of its members.
This year, the Big Orange Awards was held at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort, offering the hundreds of attendees an interactive reception, delicious dinner, a phenomenal live-band which played Disney songs, and a celebration of outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals who make West Orange County so special.
The event announced a variety of members from the Chamber as winners of a multitude of awards, including small and big businesses of the year, Nonprofit of the Year, as well as special community awards including the Bert Roper Award, the George Bailey Award and many more.
A standing ovation to all awardees concluded the night.
