Oakland to experience intermittent street and lane closures

The town announced a paving and drainage project will begin Monday, March 2, lasting four weeks.

The town of Oakland announced a paving and draining project will begin Monday, March 2. 

According to the town, workers will begin the project by moving dirt in the area of Daniels Street and Oakland Avenue. 

The project is anticipated to last four weeks and will require intermittent street and lane closures. 

The town asks residents to use caution when workers are present and to slow down in construction zones.
