Following the close of the athletics season, Windermere High School announced its Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Luke Anthony on Windermere's football and boys soccer team was named the Male Athlete of the Year. The senior Super Scholar also will attend Cornell University. He held a 5.3 weighted GPA and tested a 34 on the ACT and 1,550 on the SAT. Athletically, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, 36 inch vertical, benched 275, squatted 405 and deadlifted 585 pounds. On the Final Four soccer team, he scored one goal.

Rylee Erisman is graduating high school a year early. She will be attending the University of California, Berkeley on a swim scholarship. In her high school swim years, she won the 2025 FHSAA Class 4A State Championship in the 100-meter freestyle. Her time of 46.73 seconds broke Olympian Gretchen Walsh's national high school record. She also won five gold medals at the 2025 World Junior Swimming Championships in Romania for Windermere Laker Swim.
