The First Academy boys lacrosse defenseman named Academic All-American

TFA's senior Jackson Jones was given the honor.

The First Academy boys lacrosse player Jackson Jones was named 2026 Academic All-American for his academic and athletic success during the season. The award is given to an athlete who maintains above a 3.5 grade point average and maintained a starting position on the team's roster.

Jones, a senior defenseman, helped the team achieve its 14-6 record, while also competing on the boys weightlifting team as well. 

He also was awarded the Daniel Award by TFA, which is an award recognizing students chosen for a life designed by faith, servant leadership, wisdom and the ability to lead others with purpose.
