The new Ward Trail pedestrian bridge is on its way.

The town of Windermere said the bridge is scheduled for delivery sometime during the week of Monday, June 15, weather and transportation conditions permitting.

"This delivery is an exciting milestone in the Ward Trail improvement project and a visible sign of progress toward the installation of a new bridge," the town posted.

Residents might see the oversized load traveling through the area.

Additional project updates will be provided as they become available.
