A Winter Park woman has been charged with murdering her husband after he was found dead in their home last month.

The Winter Park Police Department announced on Wednesday that they have arrested Danielle Redlick in connection with the death of her husband, Michael Redlick, 65. 

Danielle Redlick faces charges of second degree murder with a weapon and tampering with evidence.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 12 Winter Park police officers had responded to 1231 Temple Drive in reference to a deceased male. The individual was identified as Redlick, Director of External Affairs and Partnership Relations for the DeVos Sport Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida.

The UCF executive started working at the DeVos Sport Business Management Program in 2013, and brought with him over 20 years of sports industry experience with properties such as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, NFL teams (SF 49ers, Cleveland Browns) and NBA teams (Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers).
